Umm Hayaat bint abdullah
I am an american muslim living in the uk after having an arranged marriage. Umm an arranged marriage we sort of did ourselves if that makes sense. My husband and I have been together for almost 4 years now and hit by high taxes we are desperately trying to save as much money as possible without becoming unhappy. Its a new territory for both of us that I hope we will enjoy learning as well as sharing our experiences with others.
We are starting out with 2 beautiful children ages 2 1/2 and 8 months old with a small terrace house in a bad area. My husband is a general practitioner (family doctor) and I have chosen to be a stay at home mother. Hit by high taxes, no tax credits and all the expenses that come with the job we live a simple life in order to maintain some sort of financial freedom.
